Basic CPR training for general practice

The Western NSW PHN is partnerwith with Royal Life Saving to deliver a basic CPR training session in Dubbo. This session is open to GPs, Registrars, Practice Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Practice Managers, Practice Staff and Allied Health Professionals working in and around Dubbo.
Learning outcomes
- Outline the main aims of first aid
- Perform Primary Survey, in a simulated situation, to assess danger, response, sending for help, airway, breathing, CPR and defibrillator use (DRSABCD)
- Perform CPR in accordance with current ARC guidelines
- Recognise when and how to use an automated external defibrillator
Cost
$75.00 (tickets purchased via 123Tix) - light snack provided upon arrival
